In Thorndon one of the nicest central suburbs of Wellington. Closer to the railway station and inter island ferry service than most of the central city hotels. The rooms are simply furnished but are tidy and include all basic facilities such as TV, radio, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. The corner rooms are the largest and those on upper floors have a good view over the city. The Portland restaurant serves breakfast , lunch and dinner. There is a reduced lunch menu on weekends.
